June 8, 2004 --  Dr. Evan Anderman joins McDonald Morrissey Associates, Inc.  Dr. Anderman will be based in Denver, Colorado. 

    Dr. Anderman has over 15 years of experience as a leader in the development of inverse-modeling techniques and is a coauthor of the recently released MODFLOW-2000.  Dr. Anderman holds Geological Engineering degrees from Colorado School of Mines and Princeton University.  Dr. Anderman has conducted research on applied parameter estimation in ground-water flow modeling.

November 1, 2000 -- Dan Morrissey contributes editorial to GROUNDWATER.  

     Dan Morrissey contributed the lead editorial to the November-December, 2000 issue of the National Ground Water Association's (NGWA) trade journal GROUNDWATER.  The editorial, Ground Water Modeling and Automated Computer Design, addresses the use and misuse of graphical user interface processors in ground water model design.  To view the editorial click  here -->Editorial

February 2, 2000 -- McDonald Morrissey Associates, Inc. celebrates 10 year anniversary.

     McDonald Morrissey Associates, Inc. was formed on February 2, 1990 by principals Dan Morrissey and Mike McDonald.  MMA thanks all its clients and colleagues for support and interesting hydrogeologic studies.

December 4, 1999 -- Michael McDonald named to AGWSE Board of  Directors.

     At the annual meeting of the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) in Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. McDonald was named to the Board of Directors of the AGWSE (Association of Ground Water Scientists and Engineers) Division of the NGWA.  Each board member serves a two-year term and provides guidance for the leading trade association of the ground water industry with over 11,800 members.

July, 1999 -- MMA and Horsley & Witten, Inc. team awarded contract with US EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water.

    Horsley & Witten, Inc. and MMA were awarded a contract with the US EPA Office of Groundwater and Drinking Water to a three-year contract to provide technical support for the Underground Injection Control (UIC), Drinking Water and Source Water Protection Programs.
